What is a Claude skill?
A folder of instructions, scripts and reference files that Claude loads when a task calls for it. You upload it once to your Claude account, and Claude uses it whenever you ask for a cost review.
Which Claude plans work?
Anthropic's help pages list skills for Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, with code execution turned on (checked October 30, 2026). On Team and Enterprise, an owner may need to allow skills first. See the install guide's requirements.
Does NonProfitSaver see our expenses?
No. You give the file to Claude in your own account. We never receive it, and the skill has no network code. Claude processes it under Anthropic's terms for your plan.
How is this different from the free audit?
The free audit checks the software you type in, on our website, once. The skill reads your whole expense export inside Claude, finds recurring charges, duplicates and overlaps on its own, and you can rerun it whenever you like. Both use the same discount library.
What files work?
CSV or Excel (.xlsx) exports from QuickBooks, Xero, Aplos, a bank or a card, or a typed list of subscriptions. A QuickBooks 'Transaction Detail by Account' report for the last 12 months works well. Old .xls files need saving as .xlsx or CSV.
Will it save us money?
It shows where nonprofit pricing or overlaps may save money, with each assumption stated. It can't promise savings: vendors decide eligibility, and you decide what to change.
Is this an audit by a CPA?
No. It isn't a certified financial audit, and it isn't accounting, legal or tax advice. Eligibility questions go to your CPA or attorney.
How current are the discounts?
Every program carries the date we last checked it (latest October 21, 2026). Prices older than 120 days are marked conditional, and when Claude can browse, the skill has it check each program's current page. For 12 months after purchase you can download the latest library.
Can we use it more than once?
Yes, as often as you like, for your organization. Please don't share the file outside it.
Does it work with ChatGPT or other AI tools?
It's built and documented for Claude. We haven't tested it anywhere else, so we don't claim it works there.
Are sales final?
Yes. Because the skill is a digital download you keep, all sales are final. Before you buy, read the sample report and check the requirements in the install guide. If a download fails or the file is defective, we replace it.
Can you do the switching for us?
Yes, that's the Implementation Roadmap: 30% of validated first-year savings, $99 to $2,500. You don't need the skill for it; the free audit is the starting point.
