Every dollar wasted is a dollar taken away from your mission.
Turn Claude into your nonprofit's cost-saving advisor. Add the Nonprofit Cost Auditor to Claude, give it your organization's expenses, and get a savings report you can act on.
What it is
A skill is a small package of instructions and files that teaches Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, to do one job well. This one teaches Claude to review a nonprofit's spending. It reads an expense export (a QuickBooks report, a bank or card statement, or a list of subscriptions), finds the recurring charges, compares each vendor with our library of nonprofit discount programs, and writes a report with a prioritized action plan.
You aren't buying accounting software, a CPA's review or a hosted service. It's a file you add to your own Claude account, and it runs there.
What the report shows
- Software you pay full price for that has a nonprofit program, with the program's price, its conditions and the date we last checked it.
- Lower-cost alternatives that are free or cheaper for nonprofits, labeled as a switch rather than a discount.
- Possible duplicate charges and tools that overlap, such as two email-marketing services.
- Large vendors that aren't in our library, so you know whom to ask about nonprofit pricing.
- Yearly savings per item, switching time, and a prioritized action plan. Every number shows how it was worked out.

How the numbers stay honest
- Savings come only from our library of 81 nonprofit programs, researched from each vendor's own pages, the same data our free audit uses. Each record carries the date we last checked it (latest October 21, 2026).
- Each saving is labeled. "Verified" and "conditional" savings are added up; "worth investigating", overlaps and duplicate charges are listed but never added in.
- When Claude can browse, the skill tells it to check each program's current page before counting it.
- The math is done by a script inside the skill, not left to the AI, so the same file gives the same report.
Your expenses stay with you
You upload the file to your own Claude account, not to us. NonProfitSaver never receives it. The skill's script has no network code, and its instructions tell Claude never to put your organization's name, amounts or vendors into a web search or outside service. Claude handles your file under Anthropic's terms for your plan.
Who it's for, and who it isn't
- For nonprofits and churches that already use Claude, or are happy to, and want to review a full expense export privately and rerun it each quarter.
- Not needed if you only want to check your software subscriptions once: the free online audit does that in about five minutes, at no cost.
- Not for you if you want someone to do the switching for you. That's our Implementation Roadmap (30% of validated first-year savings, $99 to $2,500).
What we promise, and what we don't
- It isn't a certified financial audit, and it isn't accounting, legal or tax advice. Vendors decide who qualifies and can change their prices at any time.
- We don't promise savings. The report is an estimate based on your file and our library; check each program's page before you act.
- It never buys, cancels or changes anything. It explains the steps, and you decide.
- We make money from it (the $49 price). No vendor in the library pays us to be listed.
- The skill as a ZIP file, plus the install guide
- Run it as often as you like for your organization
- 12 months of fresh downloads as we update the discount library
- If a download fails or the file is defective, we replace it
- Paid securely through Stripe; we never see your card
