Privacy Policy
Effective October 18, 2026
NonProfitSaver is operated by NonProfit Saver, based in Texas. NonProfitSaver ("we") helps nonprofits find savings on software and services. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We wrote it to match exactly what our software does.
What we collect
When you start an audit: your email address, your organization's name, and (optionally) your name. You can separately opt in to marketing email; that choice is recorded with a timestamp.
Audit answers: your organization type, approximate size and budget range, the subscriptions you enter with their costs and plans, and any notes you add.
When you contact us: the details you put in the form.
When you buy a paid service: payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
We never ask for passwords, bank logins, or access to your software accounts. Please don't send them to us.
Analytics
We count page views and funnel steps (for example, "an audit was completed") as daily totals. These counts contain no names, emails, IP addresses, or organization details, and we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. To prevent abuse, we keep a salted one-way hash of your IP address for up to one hour in our rate limiter.
How we use your information
- To produce your savings report and let you return to it.
- To email you your report (a transactional message) when you request one.
- To respond to your messages and provide services you purchase.
- To send occasional marketing email only if you opted in. Every message includes an unsubscribe link.
- To improve our discount database using aggregated, de-identified data (for example, which tools nonprofits use most).
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share your organization's spending with vendors.
Your report link
Your report is available at a private link containing a long random code. Anyone who has the link can view the report, so share it only with your team. Report links expire after 180 days. We store only a one-way hash of the code, not the code itself. The optional "shareable summary" link shows only your savings percentage and number of opportunities, not your organization name or spending.
While you fill out the audit, your progress is saved in your browser's local storage so a refresh doesn't lose it. It's removed when you finish.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare (hosting, database, and bot protection), Resend (email delivery), and Stripe (payments). They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Retention and deletion
We keep audit data while it's useful for providing your report and services. To have your data deleted, or to get a copy, contact us from the email address you used. We'll confirm within 30 days.
Children
Our service is for organizations and isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify users by email.
