How to apply
- Create a free Make account if you don't have one, and wait about two days for the account to sync
- Click Apply now on the NGO program page and fill out the online form using the email of your active Make account
- Make reviews applications within a few working days and emails a decision
- Before the 12 months end, use the link in the reminder email to reapply; Make may ask for updated NGO documentation
Catches and limitations
- Selective program, not an automatic discount: applications are reviewed and can be rejected
- Churches, ministries and any organization with religious or political affiliations are excluded
- 40,000 operations per month cap; extra usage must be bought
- License lasts 12 months; renewal requires reapplying and is at Make's sole discretion
- No refunds of current or past subscription fees under the program
Switching: If already on a paid Make plan, the NGO license is applied to your Make account; Make says refunds of current or past subscription fees are generally outside the program. Moving from another automation tool (Zapier, Power Automate) means rebuilding each workflow as a Make scenario.
