What Google Ad Grants is
Google Ad Grants gives eligible nonprofits up to US$10,000 a month of in-kind search advertising on Google, according to Google's Ad Grants FAQ (as of our last check, October 17, 2026). It's search ads only, unused amounts don't roll over to the next month, and the account has to keep meeting Google's program policies to stay active.
To qualify, an organization needs valid charity status in its country, a verified Google for Nonprofits account, and a website that meets Google's policy. Google doesn't accept government entities, hospitals and healthcare organizations, or schools and universities. See Google's eligibility page and our Google Ad Grants listing. What's inside

- Organizations Google excludes (government, hospitals and healthcare, schools and universities).

- Google policy statements in the kit link to Google's own pages with the date we checked them. When Google changes a rule, we update the kit.
